Career Education is an important component of the high school curriculum.  Primarily, it provides access to resources enabling students to research a wide variety of future career options or further educational pursuits.  Effective planning based on research is the key to success whether student expectations include continuing on to post-secondary education at a college or university, enrolling in an apprenticeship program or pursuing other career training.  This website is intended to provide a catalogue of resources, each segment representing a key to the door of otpportunities.

UNIVERSITY OF VICTORIA- Computer Science and Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at UVic is hosting free guided tours of their facilities, including interactive demonstrations and presentations.  The tours are offered in two sessions: Grade 11 & 12 students: Wed., Feb. 17, 2010 - 9am-12pm OR 1pm-4pm.  Grades 9 & 10 students: Thurs., Feb. 18, 2010 - 9am-12pm OR 1pm-4pm. You must register to attend before Feb. 8, 2010 by contacting Cara Blanchard at bsengoff@uvic.ca or 250-721-6023.
