SUMMARY:LAMBRICK PARK FAMILY OF SCHOOLS TERRY FOX RUN
DESCRIPTION:Terry Fox Flyer \nApril 12 marks the anniversary of Terry Fox dipping his artificial leg into the Atlantic Ocean to begin his Marathon of Hope.  \nTo commemorate Terry’s run and to help raise funds for the Terry Fox foundation\, the Lambrick Park family of schools ( Lambrick Park\, Gordon Head Middle and Torquay Elementary) will be taking part in a run.  The run will take students down to Mt. Doug beach where they will dip their foot in the ocean to commemorate the beginning of Terry’s run years ago. \nStaff and students are beginning a fundraising campaign that will run from April 4 to April 12.  We are asking parents\, family members\, staff\, students and anyone else to make donations to our cause.  Any donations can currently be sent or dropped off to the Main office of all three schools or can be sent with students to give to their teacher.   \nBeginning in April\, students will also be selling wrist bands to support the run.  Please consider donating to help this great cause!
