SCHEDULE UPDATE:
Thanks to all of the staff, students and parents that responded to our survey about the schedule for LP during these strange times.
The result of the survey suggested that most of our LP Community would prefer a consistent schedule. For the remainder of the school year we will have classes:
Morning Classes:
9:00 to 11:30 (M to Thu)
9:00 to 10:40 (Fridays)
Lunch Block Classes:
11:45 to 12:25
Afternoon Classes: (50% students)
Monday to Thursday 12:30 to 3:00
ASSESSMENTS:

Graduation Assessments. Graduation assessments are changing to align with the new curriculum. As part of the updated graduation requirements, students in the B.C. Graduation Program will complete three provincial assessments. These assessments focus on the demonstration and application of numeracy and literacy.. It is suggested that your child access their student portal to look at their schedule for their Quarter 3 classes. This will be the same place they can check their grades. Quarter 2 final grades will be posted on the portal on February 12.
Feel free to share with your friends and neighbours that we are still accepting applications for our Baseball/Softball Academy as well as our Grade 9 ACCEL Program. Information can be found under Programs and Courses tab on our LP website.

CAREER CENTER:
Careers 9-12 Update:
All Careers 9 coursework for Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 needs to be handed in by January 29th. All Careers 10, 11, and 12 coursework for Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 needs to be handed in by January 22nd. No late work will be accepted after those dates. Students are encouraged to contact their Careers teacher if they need assistance in completing their work.
