To LP Families:
Parent-Teacher Conferences:
Thanks to all of the parents/guardians that were able to attend parent teacher interviews on Thursday.
It was great to see many of you here at the school. We did not hear of any major technology glitches either,
so hopefully all went well for those that booked an online interview.
Halloween Dance October 26:
- Really excited to host our first school dance in 3 years this coming Wednesday night October 26.
- The dance is from 7-10 and ONLY the students that have purchased tickets will be allowed in.
There are no ticket sales at the door.
- Students should know that our Dance is a school event and all school rules apply.
There are will not be access to lockers at the dance, so plan accordingly.
- We do not permit ins and outs from the Dance… once students choose to leave, they will
not be allowed to come back in.
Tickets for the HALLOWEEN DANCE, WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 26th, will be for sale online from now until Tuesday. The last chance for students to buy their tickets at school will be Monday & Tuesday at lunch.
We have 53 tickets remaining to be sold – don’t delay or you may risk missing out on the biggest and
best dance party of the year!
We are really looking forward to an amazing event.
Photo Retakes:
Photo Retakes have been rescheduled to November 3rd. We are hoping to receive the photos from our
first session next week.
Work Habit Reminder:
We are coming to 1/2 way point of the first semester. It is likely there will be some projects, presentations, and tests coming up. Now would be an ideal time to develop a homework schedule and spend some time every school night keeping up with classes. You can also remind your student if they are in grades 10-11-12 to check their online Careers class. Many students have a lot going on, so plan ahead and avoid everything piling up. Have a great weekend.
LP ACADEMY:
Baseball and Softball Academy students start indoor training at Oak Bay Recreation Center Monday and Wednesday.
Block A: SENIOR BOYS: Anyone taking the bus to Oak Bay rec, bus leaves LP at 8:40. Those driving, or making their own way to Oak Bay, be there with all of your baseball and safety gear, etc.
Block B: JUNIOR BOYS: Bus leaves LP at the start of B block. Please be out front right after you’re A Block class with all of your gear.
Block C: SOFTBALL: Bus leaves LP at 12:10
