Dear LP families,
Hopefully everyone is staying healthy through all of this. Another week has gone by and there are still a lot of questions and uncertainty. As provincial restrictions relax, the possibility of some in-school support becomes more realistic. Earlier this week a group of LP staff met to start planning out how to open up our school when we are able to. There are lots of Public Health requirements and safety protocols we need to follow to keep our school community safe for staff, students and parents. We know that the remote learning will continue until the end of the year, so please make sure your children continue to work on the materials assigned by our staff. Final grades for the year will be a combination of pre-COVID school work, and the remote materials staff have assigned during the pandemic.
Many families have reached out to our staff for clarification, and supports to complete work, or to collect materials needed to be successful. Should you need anything, please let us know.
Attached you will find the link to the SD 61 Weekly Snapshot, as well as a pamphlet from the Leadership Class regarding a charity bottle drive.
