Students will be delivering collection boxes and lists of desired donations to D BLOCK classes on Monday afternoon. The class that collects the most food (determined by weight) will get donuts. The class that comes in second will get Timbits. If any students in your class want to donate cash, we’ll count it in the total on a $1 = 1lb basis. Donations will be collected at the end of the day on December 9 and winners will be announced on Monday.

This year, we’re participating in the KOOL FM FOOD FOR FAMILIES FILL-UP food drive and the school that collects the most food gets some seriously good PR and a trophy so we’re hoping that everyone will talk this up with their classes… Not to mention, there’s a ridiculously large number of families in the CRD who depend on food banks.

We’ll be having students come to D block classes periodically over the 2 week period to talk up the food drive – apologies in advance for the disruption.
