Lambrick Park Attendance Reporting Procedures
Dear Parents and Guardians,
To ensure your student’s attendance is recorded accurately, please follow these guidelines:
- Reporting an Absence
If your student will be away, please email lambrickattendance@sd61.bc.ca or call 250-477-0181 (option 1)
Action Required: Please include the student’s first and last name in the email or voicemail to prevent errors.
- Automated Notifications
The Greater Victoria School District sends automated emails each evening to notify families of any unexcused absences. These emails specify the student and the specific block(s) missed.
- Correcting Attendance Errors
If you receive a notification that you believe is an error, please email the teacher directly. Because teachers manage their own classroom records, they are the only ones who can verify a student’s attendance status.
**While students are welcome to sign themselves out at the office, please note that doing so does not automatically excuse the absence. To ensure the absence is officially excused, we require a parent or guardian to notify the school via phone or email.
