As part of Canada @ 150 events and the Victoria Forum, the  “Together Tour” is coming to Lambrick Park on November 8 and 9. The exhibit celebrates Canada’s leadership in promoting a more peaceful, prosperous and pluralist world.

The exhibit offers:

–          Powerful photography, film and audio that bring the individual stories behind global change to life

–          Interactive components and unique objects that enable visitors to explore innovative solutions to global challenges – and uncover how they can build on their own skills and interests to take action

–          Opportunities for visitors to share their experience with one another and with their social networks

The mobile exhibition is housed inside a specially designed, 53-foot custom vehicle that provides 1,000 square feet of exhibit space. It will be located on Torquay Drive at the front of our school from November 6-9.

For background, the Victoria Forum is a three-day event co-hosted by the University of Victoria and Global Affairs Canada under the theme of Canada@150: Promoting Diversity and Inclusion. We are gathering global and national leaders representing different levels of governments, business leaders, Indigenous leaders and members of academia, civil society, youth and students. Through plenaries and work shop sessions, delegates will identify opportunities to advance the diversity agenda both domestically and internationally.  The Together Tour is part of the Forum’s cultural exhibitions designed to help inspire our delegates to develop ideas for a better world!
