Countdown to Winter Festive Day has begun!  

Watch & listen for exciting announcements. 

Start paying attention to the walls, trophy cases, people, spaces of LP – our Winter Festive day Kahoot is being created! Who will be the inaugural Champion of our first school-wide Kahoot??? There is a prize for first place : ) Start studying your landscape, people!

LPSS Winter Festive Day 2020

On Friday December 18th – LPSS leadership will be hosting a festive winter event!

It will start at 9:00 am in students’ B BLOCK classes

Here is the schedule for next Friday’s Winter Festive Day December 18th, courtesy of the Leadership team.  All entertainment will be streamed via Zoom.  Have your tech package ready to go!

Who and Where:

To make this event Covid-safe, it will be taking place in Block B class cohorts (9:00 – 10:40am)

What it Will Be & When:

Pajama Day – wear something comfy!  But appropriate (GM’s 2 cents)

9:00 – 9:30am

Breakfast: food will be prepackaged and delivered to each classroom.  1 bag of breakfast goodies per student.   Leadership Students (wearing masks and gloves) will distribute food to each classroom based on the numbers you submitted last week (“Goody bags” will consist of a juice box, orange, a baked good, candy cane, and a package of hot chocolate)

Crafts: during breakfast, students will be making 3D paper snowflakes.  There will be an instructional video showing them how to create it.  Have plain paper & scissors ready – let us know if you need supplies.

9:30 – 10:30am

Entertainment: Slideshow Photos of the year so far, LP Elves on the Shelves, a very special holiday book reading, Lip Sync battles, music, and a clip from a classic holiday movie.

Competitive Game: school wide Kahoot!  25 questions on LP, school subjects, the holidays  & pop culture.  Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place!  Tell your students to bring their devices or have Chromebooks accessible.

10:30 – 10:40am

Classroom Cleanup & Goodbyes:  all garbage disposed of, tables sprayed & wiped down, chairs stacked, windows & blinds closed.
