The Lambrick Park Track and Field team had 20 athletes participate in the Provincial Track and Field Championships last Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Langley. There were some great results by many members of the team and the Senior boys managed to win a Provincial banner in their last competitive event for the school before they graduate next week!
The members are and results are:
Seth H 3rd in race walk.
Kelton F 4th in 4x100m relay and 4th in 4x400m relay.
Jaydon M 4th in 4x100m relay and 4th in 4x400m relay and competed in long jump.
Braeden B 4th in 4x100m relay, 4th in 4x400m relay and 11th in long jump.
Aiden G 4th in 4x100m relay, 4th in 4x400m relay, 6th in 800m (2:01.07 new school record), 7th in 200m steeplechase, and 10th in 1500m.
The 4x400m relay also set a new school record that has stood since 1999.
